What Materials Can Be Recycled at Inland Concrete Recycling?
Inland Concrete Recycling focuses on clean concrete, asphalt, brick, block, and granite. Clean loads move fastest. Mixed, painted, coated, oversized, or contaminated material should be discussed before loading.
If you are unsure, call first.
Materials We Commonly Accept
Concrete
Many forms of clean concrete may be accepted, including:
- Foundation concrete
- Sidewalks and driveways
- Slabs and flatwork
- Curbs and barriers
- Concrete with rebar, if handling requirements are confirmed first
Call first for unusual sizes, coatings, paint, heavy protruding rebar, or mixed debris.
Asphalt
Clean asphalt pavement and surface material may be accepted. Asphalt shingles, tar paper, roofing membrane, and roofing materials are not accepted.
Brick
Clean brick may be accepted. Brick with mortar may be possible depending on volume and condition. Call first if the material is mixed with wood, plaster, garbage, soil, or other debris.
Block
Concrete block and cinder block may be accepted if clean. Remove obvious non-masonry attachments where possible.
Granite
Granite curbs, slabs, pavers, and similar stone materials may be accepted. Call first for other natural stone or mixed loads.
Materials We Cannot Accept
We do not accept loads containing garbage, hazardous waste, contaminated soil, organics, drywall, insulation, roofing material, treated wood, or mixed demolition debris.
Older, painted, coated, or industrial materials may require separate assessment by qualified professionals before recycling. Do not load uncertain material without checking first.
How to Prepare a Load
Before loading:
- Separate masonry material from garbage and non-masonry debris.
- Remove obvious wood, plastic, drywall, insulation, soil, and organics.
- Keep concrete, asphalt, brick, block, and granite separated where practical.
- Take photos if you are unsure.
- Call before you arrive for directions and material confirmation.
Drop-off or Mobile Crushing?
Drop-off
Drop-off is usually the simplest path for smaller loads and ongoing contractor recycling.
Mobile Crushing
Mobile crushing is usually considered for larger clean concrete projects, typically 200+ tons, where the site has access, working room, and a practical use or loadout plan for the finished aggregate.
What Happens After Material Is Accepted?
Accepted clean material can be crushed and processed into recycled aggregate products such as road base, crushed concrete, or other usable aggregate sizes depending on production and availability.
Rates
Pricing varies by material type, weight, handling requirements, volume, and service path. Call before loading for the current best option.
